Catholic Youth Ministry
CYM Sports in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee has a long and rich history. For many years CYM has provided an opportunity for young men and women to participate in basketball, volleyball and at one time, softball.
The longtime philosophy for “Catholic School and parish athletic programs to offer an opportunity for young people to associate with dedicated adults who not only foster the development of athletic skills but serve as role models of Christian living" is evident in this ministry.
Athletics in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee provide:
· A learning experience.
· A positive base for Christian development.
· An understanding of competition, emphasizing sportsmanship and
teamwork.
· An opportunity for all participants to develop and share knowledge and
skills appropriate to their level.
Co-Ed Volleyball
Parish members interested in playing Co-Ed CYM Volleyball may contact Mary Pat Rohde, 2623 N 114th Street, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.

Golf
The St. John Vianney Parish golf team for youth is practicing over the summer months. Contact Paul Mindel for more information.
Tennis
The SJV tennis team recruits youth parish members in grades 5-8 in April each year. The tennis team practices several times each week and games are arranged for Saturday mornings in Southeastern Wisconsin during the month of May. Contact parish member Bill Newby for more information.
